WROVER UFL/IPEX connector vs Antenna PCB

Hi - I'm a bit confused with these 2 options of the WROVER. I see from outisde of the shield and schematics that R14/R15 position sets the antenna selection to be either the UFL/IPEX or the PCB. But I assume that there is more than just R14/R15: the Pi matching filter (under the shield) is also diff...

i2s pll setting incorrect for 176400/2/16

Hi - Still in latest dev IDF, when using apll, the sdm0/1/2/odir choice is incorrect at least for 176400/2channels/16bits (despite a change that does a re-assessment of sdm2 after selection of odir). The i2s_apll_calculate_fi2s() selects sdm2=7,odir=1,sdm1=sdm0=255 which is 156249 (totally off) wher...

I2S wrong buffering method

I have an application that plays audio using I2S (I'm using the latest IDF on the master branch). It works, but I needed to dig into some details for my use case which requires audio synchronization and some of what I see in i2s.c makes no sense to me. What I understand is that through i2s_drive_ins...

Re: WiFi cannot allocate memory in SPIRAM when ISRAM is full

Yes, I had to lower the minimum block size that was *always* allocated to internal RAM (CONFIG_SPIRAM_MALLOC_ALWAYSINTERNAL) so that my application would not allocate too much of the internal ram as WiFi *wants* some of its allocation to be in internal ram, regardless of WiFi memory allocation strat...

Re: Using libesp-tremor directtly fails on av_open_callbacks

I see. The function `av_open_callbacks` is used in decoding. what can i do for you? We can probably leave it there. I wanted to leverage your libs rather than building mine, as I thought you have probably made a better optimization job than I did, but it's not the end of the world. There is probabl...

Re: Using libesp-tremor directtly fails on av_open_callbacks

Hi , I have not come across anything like this. Before solving the problem, i need to confirm the following things. 1. Did something go wrong with ESP-ADF demo? 2. Does the music you used work on other players? if the answers are YES, could you give me the log and your used music for helping to rep...

WiFi cannot allocate memory in SPIRAM when ISRAM is full

I have an application that allocates lots of mid that were below SPIRAM threshold SPIRAM_MALLOC_ALWAYSINTERNAL. The Wifi driver was failing regularly its memory alloc (and then disconnecting) and I realized that it was happening once the internal memory was consumed by my other applications. Moving ...

Using libesp-tremor directtly fails on av_open_callbacks

Hi - I'm trying to use tremor with libesp-tremor.a (instead of compiling myself tremor). Strangely, my application fails when calling ov_open_callbacks, it returns an OV_EREAD but my read callback is not even called. The exact same code works fine when compile on my x86 or arm Linux box. All the cal...
