I'm creating some code for esp32 c3 and I should upload some files with spiffs, since on the new arduino ide 2.x there is no tool, how can I do it?

The drivers have been installed correctly but when I go to connect my esp 32 it seems to connect and disconnect all the time. The cable is working I have used it with other non esp 32 cards and it works (wemos d1 mini). I read it could be because of poor cable quality ... is that possible?
