Re: Storing data constants in flash at fixed location

In the ESP32, anything declared as const will end up in the rodata segment, which then will go into flash and is read directly from that. So for your example, you would declare test_array as e.g. const uint16_t test_array[1024]={10, 9, 8, 3, 4, 5, 6, ...,}; (assuming that the non-C-standard WORD typ...

Re: ESP32 BLUETOOTH

What's with the all-caps titles lately? There's no need to shout, really. Removed caps from title.

Re: UART over DMA, registers are missing in reference manual

Changed title, 'resistors' is quite the misleading term here.

I'll see if I can take this up with the docs team.

Re: open source source code of static library libat_core.a

I'll ask the team to specify it a bit better, but I think it's safe to assume that libat_core.a is licensed under the same license as its include file (essentially MIT but only when used on ESP32 hardware). The sources for this library are not publicly available, sorry.

Re: Write to output port of ESP-WROOM-32

Please don't use all-caps in your title. I've taken the liberty to remove them to make the topic listing less scream-y.

Re: USB on ESP32 proof of concept @espressif

Yes, we are keeping USB in mind; the current plan is to add hardware support for it in the next chip (as usual, however: no guarantees that we'll actually succeed in this.) The proof of concept you were talking about is mine: I still should clean it up and post it. At the moment it still is pretty s...

Re: ESP-WROVER-KIT 93c46 EEPROM

No, it doesn't contain any boot code (because the FT2232 isn't a microcontroller), it can contain configuration (like reported USB strings etc) for the FT2232. I'm, however, not sure if we even write it in our current ATE process. I think there are tools around on the FTDI website to read this EEPRO...

Re: low voltage on output pins

Hmm, beats me then. My first thought was that maybe you left off the base resistor, which would indeed limit the base voltage to 0.8V. I'm not that familiar with Arduino, but at first glance the code looks OK to me.

Re: ESP32 with RT-Thread and esp32radio :-)

Can you still remember where you saw that? Because I looked in the LICENSE file as well as a few random source files; they seem plain old GPL2.0 to me.

Re: ESP32 with RT-Thread and esp32radio :-)

Please do note that with RT-Thread being GPL, you cannot distribute binaries of it linked against the WiFi and BT libraries. (The reason is that the GPL forbids it)
