Looks like you're using Arduino; moved to the Arduino subforum.

Re: uart uart_set_pin forces me to set rts and cts, how to avoid losing gpio?

No need to. You can pass UART_PIN_NO_CHANGE as the pin number for the pins you do not want to use, and the uart code will not claim a GPIO for those.

Re: can't access network when connect to AP

This is a known issue; at the moment LWIP in esp-idf does not do forwarding of packets at all.

Re: Openssl command do not work.

My guess is that openssl needs a tty to prompt for further data. Can you try prefixing the command with 'winpty'? So 'winpty openssl req ...'

Re: ESP32 Board with JTAG breakout

I don't think so. You can either have a devboard with the JTAG pins as normal pins and use some DuPont wires to hook them up to your debugger, or grab a board with integrated JTAG dongle, for example the ESP-WROVER-KIT board.

Re: Openssl command do not work.

What kind of machine is this? I have zero problems with this command on my Intel laptop with Debian GNU/Linux.

Do you happen to be working with OTA code?
