Re: Private unique id?

Generate one and store in nvs or efuse. Or use flash chip id https://www.esp32.com/viewtopic.php?t=1481

Re: How to flash the ESP32 ?

Afaik espeasy is a esp8266 firmware that won't run on esp32. Second, you have to flash a bootloader, partition table, and app to esp32.

Without it connected to anything you are going to pick up noise values, more noise with the jumper wire acting as an antenna

Re: EFUSE read/write VDD_SDIO from user application

Yes the bootloader has received some updates and is compiled from source when you run make.

What is your supply voltage?

@ESP_Angus any ideas?

Re: Cannot wakeup from deepsleep

Seems unusual, maybe if there is a problem with VDD3P3_RTC. Not sure if that would show other symptoms.

Re: EFUSE read/write VDD_SDIO from user application

You have this enabled in your sdkconfig?
https://github.com/espressif/esp-idf/bl ... config#L16

Have you tried both DIO and QIO @40mhz?

Have you tried if an updated bootloader makes any difference?

Can you reproduce with ota example?

Re: GPIO13 overridden by SD card... which we desperately need

Gpio 34 is an input only so I don't think it could drive the line to affect a scope trace.
