Re: Directly writing control registers- new programmer feeling pretty lost

Offset means local offset within the memory block not the actual address within the global memory space. You're working too hard to try and undo all the convenience of the sdk functions.

Re: Directly writing control registers- new programmer feeling pretty lost

RMT_TX_START_CH1 is not a register, it is a bit in the register RMT_CH1CONF1_REG.

So you could do REG_SET_BIT(RMT_CH1CONF1_REG, RMT_TX_START_CH1)

Re: Jump to first stage bootloader

You might be able to store a copy of the esptool loader in flash and copy it to ram and execute it. Or you could just do OTA over serial.

Re: Simultaneous WiFi and Bluetooth: Paket loss and WiFi disconnects

BT/wifi coexistence (Google it) probably has not been optimized for bt classic/a2dp yet. Even if it can be you may need a significant ram buffer to stream a2dp audio and use wifi with acceptable performance.

Problem on other platforms too https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/1402

Re: Can i create a ISR or interrupt and let that be pinned to a core?

Allocating an external interrupt will always allocate it on the core that does the allocation.
