Re: How to get hibernate?

Hi, can you tell which IDF commit ID you are using? With the latest version of master branch, the following code esp_sleep_pd_config(ESP_PD_DOMAIN_RTC_SLOW_MEM, ESP_PD_OPTION_OFF); esp_sleep_pd_config(ESP_PD_DOMAIN_RTC_FAST_MEM, ESP_PD_OPTION_OFF); esp_sleep_pd_config(ESP_PD_DOMAIN_RTC_PERIPH, ESP_P...

Re: Looking for help with component.mk warnings in libesphttpd

1. Usage of undefined variables now triggers warnings, ifdef/ifndef should be used to check variables before usage: http://esp-idf.readthedocs.io/en/latest/api-guides/build-system.html#warning-on-undefined-variables 2. $(Q) needs to be replaced with $(summary) (as in https://github.com/espressif/esp...

Re: Looking for help with component.mk warnings in libesphttpd

All these warnings are harmless, but the component.mk file needs to be updated to take latest IDF changes into account.

Re: Timer group performance

You may find SystemView helpful for debugging such issues. It offers a graphical representation of program events, such as interrupts and task switches. It should be easy to see what "gets in the way" of your refresh routine. http://esp-idf.readthedocs.io/en/latest/api-guides/app_trace.htm...

Re: some questions about spi_flash_mmap

Is it possible to save data in area which is not supportted now (unused area, not in partitions) using spi_flash_write_encrypted and read them using spi_flash_mmap? All area of the flash chip is supported , in the sense that it can be accessed via spi_flash_* APIs and esp_partition_* APIs (in the l...

Re: some questions about spi_flash_mmap

Memory-mapped reads from flash are always decrypted if flash encryption is on, that is how the flash MMU is designed.
Therefore you can't use memory mapping to read from unencrypted partitions in flash, if flash encryption is on. (Or rather, you can, but such reads will produce garbage)

Re: Pulse counter controlled by hardware timing for frequency measurement

if I use rmt_driver_install() then I lose the ability to set my own Tx Complete interrupt handler - is that correct Yes, that is correct, sorry that i didn't consider this when offering advice above. In case you are generating a single high pulse using RMT, auto-refresh may not be an issue, so you ...

Re: Storing analog measurement values in an array using the ULP coprocessor

You probably want it to be: // store measurements in respective arrays move r3, channel_1_measurements // load its address add r3, r3, r0 // offset by loop-counter (zero based) st r1, r3, 0 // and store the value move r3, channel_2_measurements // load its address add r3, r3, r0 // offset by loop-co...

Re: PSRAM support status

The fix for WiFi issue and the new toolchain URLs have both been merged into master, however we are having some issues which prevent us from updating Github master branch. We expect to resolve these issues today or tomorrow.

Re: DMA to GPIO for generating dshot signal

You may want to let the RMT keep transmitting same data until you decide to change it. That is called "loop mode" in RMT driver: http://esp-idf.readthedocs.io/en/latest/api-reference/peripherals/rmt.html#_CPPv220rmt_set_tx_loop_mode13rmt_channel_tb That would be equivalent to saying "...
