Yes, thanks! The SSRs have been working well. The doors are locked normally and I give them 24V when they need to be unlocked. The door locks were expensive (Accurate M8859E), but they work very well and everything is wired (through an "electrified hinge").

Alright, I found it can be done with i2s_set_pin and works fine with the Arduino libraries. I'm not sure how the magic in this thread works, but i2s_set_pin is straightfoward. Example:

My I2S audio project requires MCLK (specifically the Xmos XVF3610). I'd like to use my ESP32, which lead me to this topic. Is this still the way to go? Is it possible to get MCLK on GPIO2 rather than 0?

Edit: Turns out if I hold BOOT, press and release RESET, upload new code, then press RESET, my code does in fact run. Afterward I can upload without any of that and it reboots and runs my code. Why must such a gotcha exist?
