Re: ADC input attenuation

Hi Pibbotley,

Setting of ADC attenuation does not make the voltage pin rating worse.
You can still apply 3.3V to a pin at 6db attenuation, the ADC readings will only saturate.

Re: JTAG with Wrover

1. Can this device debug external ESP32 devices, i.e. debug other devices than the ESP32 mounted on the board itself? There are all JTAG pins exposed on JP8 of ESP-WROVER-KIT and you should be able to connect and debug other ESP32 devices instead of on board ESP32. I did not try that because for th...

Re: Reduce current consumption in BLE

krzychb I don't find where you start the BLE in your altimeter-main.c file. Can you explain me? Thanks !! BLE is started by function update_heart_rate() Then this function is doing two things: 1. Setting up a BLE callback implemented in component polar-h7-client . 2. Waiting couple of seconds for B...

Re: Reduce current consumption in BLE

is it possible to turn off the BLE and then go to deep sleep ?(esp_err_t esp_bluedroid_deinit() esp_err_t esp_bluedroid_disable())? Adding to reply by ESP_igrr, I have an application of such scenario and it works very well in my case. Whether it will work for you depends on how often you need to re...

Re: Need advise on SPI CS line control

In this example I am setting .max_transfer_sz = 4736 and it works out-of box / without any additional code. I really like this driver :D

Re: Need advise on SPI CS line control

I have implemented the data transfer but the CS line keeps toggling between transactions therefore I need a way to manually control the hardware CS line(if possible) in a way that allows me to adhere to the above. Any advise on how I could do this is appreciated. Hi mbutura, I believe I had a simil...

Re: Question about Performance of mysys32 on Win10 and flash tool

I used to develop on Windows. Now almost entirely switched to Linux and occasionally use Windows. Compilation of 'blink' example from scratch with '-j5' took 4:30 min on a laptop with Windows 7, i5-5300 @ 2.3GHz processor and SSD. Recompilation after the 'blink.c' file change took slightly below 30 ...
