Re: ESP32 Webradio

Refactoring can be nightmare sometimes

Does mbedTLS require a .pem locally stored? I'm a bit new to these libraries. All of the implementations I've seen of it require one while the openssl examples did not. Also curious as to why you went with HTTP/2

Re: ESP32 Webradio

^_^ In the spirit of full disclosure, I'm currently working on a fork of the project to make an Amazon Alexa client, and have progressed to a stage where SSL via mbedtls and HTTP/2 via nghttp2 works. TODOs are I2S microphone input (via InvenSense ICS-43434) and communication with the Amazon Alexa b...

Re: WiFi state machine and timings ...

Okay so I found in a different program I was working on that the latest version seems to somewhat work if I add a delay after the wifi commands. However I am getting "E wifi: TIMQ_NUL" messages regardless through serial.

Re: WiFi state machine and timings ...

Must be, I don't see anything on the github issue tracker which is covers it. Would you like to fill in your findings there? It would likely get a quick response there. I had misplaced my Nano32 dev board and was trying out one of the ESP-WROOM boards but couldn't get anything to work, not even the ...

Re: WiFi state machine and timings ...

I have just encountered this myself and was about to create an issue on the github. My programs and the examples themselves seem to get to I (1635) wifi: rx_ba=1 tx_ba=1 I (1635) wifi: mode : sta (24:0a:c4:00:53:e4) And then just stop. I'll try adding a delay to everything to see if it clears things...

Re: After ESP-IDF 1.0...

Great work getting 1.0 out. I'll keep patiently waiting on I2S but I was hoping to hear a little news as far as external SRAM.

Re: I2S details

Fyi, we have someone working on an I2S driver - it should appear in esp-idf soon-ish. The documentation for the I2S driver is going to take a bit longer, but I've tried to boost its priority a bit due to a lot of people wanting to use this interface - it should also appear in the technical referenc...

Re: ESP-IDF 1.0 Release plan

CAN and ULP are not on the list for 1.0 at the moment, as are all the optimisations (beyond trivial ones). Is far as i can tell, DMA is implemented on a case by case basis for each peripheral. There is a common part for all drivers, it should be part of the release as well. For external SPI RAM (as...
