This is fantastic. After testing the API my next challenge is MQTT. I was going to try port this: https://github.com/aws/aws-iot-device-sdk-embedded-C.

Great work weller. I went through this mission yesterday night and this would have helped a lot. Still trying to get both old and new SDKs to coexist nicely and work in eclipse. Will writeup a blog post once I am done.

Nice work Rudi. This helped me get off the ground. Please check the above code as I think you will get errors if gpio is const.
