The I2C driver is working with my peripheral.
But I need to query it in the background at high speed without involving the CPU, eg read 4 bytes, 100 times a second.
The I2C driver seems to use a soft descriptor scheme which is too heavy to implement what is needed.

With esp-idf 4745895e229d8e1ca4e6f4b601397c0ba0b3d2db, close(socket_fd) ends up in lwip_close() okay. That does netconn_delete() OK. Currently, freeing the socket is skipped though.

I assume it's supposed to be done lazily later.
But ...
