I’m working on an ESP32-C6 project using ESP-IDF, and I’d like to build an IR remote library similar in functionality and flexibility to the Arduino-IRremote library.

My goals are:
Protocol auto-detection: Detect and decode multiple IR protocols (RC5, NEC, Sony, etc.) from IR receiver ...

While the buffer's argument is char in esp_http_client_read(esp_http_client_handle_t client, char *buffer, int len), the content_length is assigned to the buffer with that size since esp_http_client_get ...

I've already written the esp self OTA code, and it functions well.
I now have to read and download a different file from Amazon S3 in order to flash it onto an AVR MCU that is attached to a UART. The locations of both firmwares are the same.

I am able to make the connection. I can't read this ...
