Re: Do non-blocking TCP send calls work?

I'm using non-blocking sockets exclusively. Setting non-blocking mode: https://github.com/PerMalmberg/Smooth/blob/feature/15-ServerSocket/lib/smooth/core/network/CommonSocket.cpp#L40 My send-call: https://github.com/PerMalmberg/Smooth/blob/feature/15-ServerSocket/lib/smooth/include/smooth/core/netwo...

Re: Programming in C++

permal, I really like what it looks like you're doing in Smooth -- I've been trying to use it for the past few weeks, but my learning curve was pretty steep. I've got decades worth of experience as a developer, but mostly in the Microsoft world, and my last serious effort was a decade ago. Because ...

"fatal error: miniz.h: No such file or directory"
If the file exists, it simply means that the project doesn't have an include path to the location of the file. Check you project setup.

Re: Programming in C++

I have built and run a couple of small C++ applications following Neil Kolgan's tutorial ... seems to work fine. However, looking at this thread it's not clear to me how solid the C++/esp-idf environment is at this point. Is it solid enough for serious development, or is it still a work in progress...

As for the cmake project complaining, i just set the variables in Build settings and added idf path and path to environment variables. It worked just fine.
I can confirm this - something has changed recently either in CLion or IDF, making it work fine.

Re: Who has had luck using SDIO 4-bit for SD Cards with IDF?

Hm, the resulting 25K is actually a mistake on my side - I've forgotten I enable them in in software (except the one on GPIO12 which must be controlled via software due to the Wrover-B using 3.3V flash). Guess it works too... :) I choose 50K after looking at the schematics for the Wrover-kit v3; Esp...

Re: Who has had luck using SDIO 4-bit for SD Cards with IDF?

Hi Jeff, For me the main problem was getting the strapping and pull-up pins correct (see schematics) I've got an implementation in both H/W and S/W that works with both in MMC and SPI mode. It's all open source and can be found at the links below. I've used KiCad to draw the schematics & PCB. I've r...

Re: Clion configuration and make flash

Hm, that's not my experience (I'm on Linux too). Perhaps they have done something recently that has fixed this.

Re: Clion configuration and make flash

Hi, So I have managed to add xtensa compiler/debugger to CLion, and code completion and all the basic stuff works fine. I can run the build configuration and it will compile all the code for me. But when i run 'make flash' my sdkconfig resets to blank values so each time i want to run it i need to ...
