I had the same problem but macro ESP_LOG_BUFFER_HEX_LEVEL(tag, buffer, len, ESP_LOG_ERROR) seems to work.

I had the same problem but macro ESP_LOG_BUFFER_HEX_LEVEL(tag, buffer, len, ESP_LOG_ERROR) seems to work.
