Re: Arduino support for ESP32-S2 chips

Thats strange, because i can build PIO project for S2 (part of logs removed): Verbose mode can be enabled via `-v, --verbose` option CONFIGURATION: https://docs.platformio.org/page/boards/espressif32/esp32dev.html PLATFORM: Espressif 32 (3.2.0) > Espressif ESP32 Dev Module HARDWARE: ESP32S2 240MHz, ...

Re: Arduino support for ESP32-S2 chips

This may works:

Code: Select all

[env:esp32dev]
platform = espressif32
board = esp32dev
framework = arduino

platform_packages =
  framework-arduinoespressif32 @ https://github.com/espressif/arduino-esp32#master

Re: USB Device MSC support, ESP32-S2

Maybe this will help you to start with MSC:

Another option is this library:

Re: [feature request] S2/S3 auto enter DFU mode

There is few use cases it could be used for:
- auto boot dfu when new board
- when device is sold without regular OTA and during dfu update fail for end user
- device with 0-1 buttons

I know regular OTA is still preferred, but DFU is giving much better use of flash (just 1 copy of firmware).

[feature request] S2/S3 auto enter DFU mode

I am wondering if its good idea and is it possible to add in menuconfig option to enter DFU mode when no valid binary found?
Maybe it is some option that can be added in 1st stage bootloader in S3 or in future chips?
