Great, if you can just confirm that 3.3 is expected voltage for ESP32-WROVER-E-N16R8 so I can close internal case. We will then assume that flash damage was from external cause or just bad module and continue with production of new devices.

You are right, we are using ESP32-WROVER-E-N16R8 module. Link to datasheet was link to this module.
