Update for more information: I downloaded the 5.2.5 archived version and this is NOT an issue. The log configurations work fine and I have no issues building. However, this is not a fix for me as I would like to be on the latest version.

I recently updated to ESP-IDF 5.4 from 5.1 using the pre-cloned package from here: https://dl.espressif.com/github_assets/espressif/esp-idf/releases/download/v5.4/esp-idf-v5.4.zip
