Resolved the problem by changing the install locations for VS code and ESP-IDF. I'm assuming this is a configuration issue with company laptop. On to the next issue.

Trying to install v5.4.1 in VS Code. I can't get past this error:

EPERM: operation not permitted, rename 'C:\Users\xxxx\.espressif\tools\cmake\3.30.2' -> 'C:\Users\xxxx\.espressif\tools\cmake\3.30.2.tmp'

Everything is installed in the default locations. Thoughts appreciated.
