Re: Raw ethernet packet

Wanted to bump this back up in case anyone could share anything they know about raw ethernet packet sending causing problems in a multi-task freertos environment.

Raw ethernet packet

I noticed that if I carelessly use esp_eth_tx() to send raw packets that it tends to kill my MQTT sessions. Probably something nasty going on. I see there's some LWIP stuff, and an ethernet_output() call that a lot of other stuff uses.. seems to be a more systematic way to queue/send... but didn't q...

Re: Transparent FS Encryption "Rewrite" Data Clarification

Thanks Wifive!

Do you happen to know, does the spiflash for fatfs refer to the onboard SPI flash (I assume a particular partition) within the WROOM32 module? Or does it refer ONLY to offboard spiflash (just like offboard sdcard)?

Transparent FS Encryption "Rewrite" Data Clarification

I understand that flash allows bits to go from 1->0, then we can reset a 4k page back all at once from 0->1 Yet esp-idf allows just 32bit writes to an encrypted partition. https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp-idf/en/latest/security/flash-encryption.html#setting-flash-crypt-config > AES-256 operat...

esp_partition_write to encrypted partition, but flash encryption not enabled

esp-idf v3.3 During development, it is advantageous to be able to have non-encrypted apps, but have encrypted data. However if a partition is marked encrypted, yet flash encryption is disabled, we simply write encrypted garbage and read back garbage. Here's the scenario: When using esp_partition_wri...

Re: Unhandled interrupt 3 on cpu 0!

Thanks ESP_Sprite. I'm locking some tasks to CPU1 to free up CPU0 due to the error: [0;31mE (t21265843) task_wdt: Task watchdog got triggered. The following tasks did not reset the watchdog in time: E (r21265843) task_wdt: - IDLE0 (CPU 0) Let's see how it goes. Is there a list of interrupt #'s and t...

Unhandled interrupt 3 on cpu 0!

Hello, After leaving my ESP32 running for a while... I see this printed a few hundred times before a WDT panics the system: Unhandled interrupt 3 on cpu 0! Where can I read more about what commonly raises interrupt 3 (what is it?) From what I can tell, it "doesn't really matter" since it's just a wa...
