Eclipse C++ IDE for Arduino - futuring esp32 package

hi guys not sure if you know, that we can install in Eclipse support for Arduino, further, that we can by simple install over Arduino Download Manager Packages for Platforms, example ESP8266 and other. Is there a plan to do the same for ESP32? Can we point to a link that we can install arduino esp32...

Re: [info] ESP32-EVB board for IoT with Ethernet 100Mb interface..

Now I would like to connect the ESP32 direct to my PC via the Ethernet interface, but I am not sure if it is possible at the moment. I am asking becasue what I see now is all related to Wifi, example the DHCP stop does not work for ethernet .. hi juan, if you connect the ESP32 direct to your PC wit...

Re: About the CAN controller.

Hi guys. Just to confirm: Wroom32 GPIO5 <---------> CAN TXD (D) Wroom32 GPIO4 <---------> CAN RXD (R) Is this correct? In relation to the nature of the question, first, how you want drive CAN on ESP32? MCP2551 , TJA1051 , SN65HVD233 5V / 3.7V / 3.3V cause ESP32 is 3.3V - be sure your Receive Lines ...

Re: How to Visually Tell New from Old Silicon?

The getChipRevision function in Arduino has a bug, by the way, as it has "&& EFUSE_RD_CHIP_VER_RESERVE_V" instead of "& EFUSE_RD_CHIP_VER_RESERVE_V". .... btw: LoL https://github.com/espressif/arduino-esp32/blob/master/cores/esp32/Esp.cpp#L120 uint8_t EspClass::getCh...

Re: How to Visually Tell New from Old Silicon?

hi rudi ;-) the ESP32-D0WDQ6 sample came from distribution as silicon version 1 and I've replaced into a ESP-WROOM-32 module. the piece marking says 012017 , PC3W29. Apparently the manufacturing week doesn't ensure being V1 but, from ESP_igrr words, prior to that there were some pieces manufactured...

Re: How to Visually Tell New from Old Silicon?

rudi ;-) , is that information from EFUSES fully trustable? The piece I have was supposed to be silicon version 1 and I'm reading 0. if you not get this "sample" piece explicitly from espressif, then i think you only have Rev 0 cause the silicon Rev 1 is "just in time to go on" ...

Re: Pin differences for embedded flash

good catch robin, txs, @espressif From the ESP32 series of chips specified in this document, ESP32-D2WD has 16 Mbits of embedded flash, con- nected via pins GPIO16, GPIO17, SD_CMD, SD_CLK, SD_DATA_0 and SD_DATA_1. The other chips in the ESP32 series have no embedded flash. this mean, GPIO16 can not ...

Pins reference: https://esp32.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1313&p=7737#p7737 txs WiFive, the datasheet of PSRAM32 would be nice - but i think we must wait for this longer time. hope we can get some details here. know, jeroen is hard at work on the things and PSRAM, he do many effort in this the...
