Re: Hard reset flash read err, 1000; Falling back to built-in command interpreter.

Hi, thanks
I tested with 3000, 5000 and then 500 uS but the result is the same.
Maybe my board is faulty, I will order and test with a new one.

Cheers

Eclipse build console and command shell console

Hi All, I am trying to setup a convenient eclipse (oxygen) environment for esp2 development, but I got stuck with the consoles. I defined a command shell console with the serial port and I can connect to my devkit with that window. But this console and the build console cannot be connected to the de...

Re: Hard reset flash read err, 1000; Falling back to built-in command interpreter.

As a matter of fact my situation is the same. My question is can we ignore the error message.

IO0 and IO2 pullup / pulldown resistors

Hi, On Espressif's devkit IO0 and IO2 pullup / pulldown resistors are not present. When designing my own board with WROOM32 module can I omit them entirely? Another question is about the capacitor from the EN pin to ground. On some designs it is not present. I suppose it is to introduce a delay to E...

Re: ESP32 Thing (from SparkFun) questions

1) Yes, esp32 has two i2c ports, mappable programmatically.
2) Yes, search for "esp32 ntp example".

Hard reset flash read err, 1000; Falling back to built-in command interpreter.

Hi Folks, I get this "flash read err, 1000; Falling back ...." error in all the programs I tested so far. This only happens when I hard reset the esp32 module or after wakeup from deep sleep. After the error there is a another reset and everything seems to work normally. This error is not issued aft...
