Re: ESP32 Pico custom PCB flashing error
What error do you get when you try to flash it? And how are you flashing it? From ESP-IDF or Arduino IDE?

ESP32-PICO-D4 external flash, no antenna
Hello Espressif!
I'm working on a prototype that utilizes a WROOM module but I want to make it smaller using a PICO.
My setup is based on Arduino. It needs large Flash storage but it doesn't need Wifi.
So what I'm wondering is;
1. Can I exclude an antenna with the PICO and simply not use Wifi ...

Re: Meshkit-light video example explanation wanted
I went ahead and ordered 5 bulbs.
I will attempt to figure it out myself, but still would really like to hear from someone.
How would I go about flashing my own firmware? If it uses OTA, can I just post my compiled firmware to the bulb directly somehow without the app?

Re: Meshkit-light video example explanation wanted
Awesome. Will definitely go that route if I need more after testing. Thanks for the advice.
Is anyone here experienced with flashing a ESP32-MeshKit-Light with new firmware like described by me-no-dev?
I'd love to have someone give me a short description of the steps you'd go through.

Re: Meshkit-light video example explanation wanted
I understand. Thanks for the clarification
So are there docs somewhere of going from a local ESP-MDF project, via the Android app, to the hardware?
Would I generate a HEX file that android opens? Or what is the workflow like?

Re: Meshkit-light video example explanation wanted
ESP-MDF would work fine for my use-case. So Arduino support is not that essential. :D
Is the Android app the only way to flash custom firmware?
I"m on a Macbook and iPhone. So I would not even mind using FTDI (if that even is possible) or another more manual way of flashing.

Re: Meshkit-light video example explanation wanted
Gotcha!
So you can actually just flash it like you would any ESP32 module?
That would be perfect for my use-case. Couple of questions in that case.
1. What is the best place to order a bunch of Meshkit Lights from the Netherlands? AliExpress? Or is there a better online marketplace I should get it ...
