Re: Regarding rmt_tx library to transmit rawData to Mitsubishi AC

So He has already checked same AC with other board which is not ESP32 but different one in which he is able to send and receive data without any issue. So, He is facing issue while using with ESP32 only. That is why he has post request over here and provided details. If that's the case, he should h...

Re: ESP32 Powering Issue

Possibly the bulk output cap in the 5V adapter is to blame... it may make the voltage either ramp down or ramp up too slowly. In this case, you could switching out the 1K/100nF combo on the EN pin for e.g. an 10K/1uF combo. If that doesn't help, a voltage monitor IC should.

Re: What would you like to see in The Next Chip?

Some responses: Wrt DMA to/from PSRAM: I think the ESP32S2 already has this; if not, future chips will as we certainly have this. More pins on the ESP32: we are adding a few more, take a look at the ESP32S2 for instance; it has a few more GPIO pins than the ESP32. There's only a certain limit of pac...

Re: Synchronize audio output on two DevKitC devices

Phew... I think it may be possible to use the WS/BCLK pins and switch the I2S peripheral of one of the DevkitCs into slave mode and have a 'hard sync' between the two. That would need some tweaking of the actual hardware bits to pull off, though, not surprisingly the I2S driver does not support a mo...

Re: Watchdog stuck on CPU 0

That looks like WiFi indeed is spinning on CPU0, which is odd... do you get a backtrace form the WiFi stack? Also, what version of esp-idf are you using? Anything special you're doing with WiFi?

Re: Regarding rmt_tx library to transmit rawData to Mitsubishi AC

...how do you expect me to debug a communication issue with a random airco if you give me the specs of it? If I tell you my laptop is a Thinkpad T470S, can you tell me why it crashes sometimes? If any, please start with debugging this issue yourself instead of going 'doesn't work, let's head to the ...

Re: ESP32 Powering Issue

If you haven't already, suggest indeed to follow the hardware reference / Wroom datasheet and connect to EN a 10K pullup plus an 100nF capacitor to ground

Re: SD Card Speed going down sometimes

That's SD cards for ya; they're actually pretty complicated internally and the thing may need to do some sort of active wear leveling every now and then, slowing everything down. Using a different card may give you different results.
