One way could be to reduce the amount of spiram heap and use the free mmu pages as windowed access to the rest of the ram with your own read/write functions.

Driving it from the esp32 is probably ok since the current is set to ~18mA but driving it from the USB-UART chip especially at high baudrates is another issue. Surely the easiest way is to edit the library and choose another pin.

It is, and it was previously 0 but LEDC_HPOINT_HSCH1_S is a bitmask shift value which happens to also be zero but not really appropriate

8000 per second works. but 16000 per seconds does not keep up with tx_queue size =100
800 per second works. but 1600 per seconds does not keep up with tx_queue size =100
