Re: Fail to reconnect to AP after deep sleep

At this point I would suggest to disconnect from the AP gracefully: call esp_wifi_disconnect, then wait for SYSTEM_EVENT_STA_DISCONNECTED event, then proceed to enter deep sleep. We do have a plan to implement "maintain AP connection while in deep sleep" feature at some point, but it won't come in t...

Live stream to youtube from China  Yeah, we need cross-continental WiFi for that first.

Re: RTCWDT_RTC_RESET symptom of what kind of error?

Thanks. The files look correct. I have flashed your bootloader to my DevKitC board and unfortunately, it worked fine (if it didn't, troubleshooting would probably be very trivial). Could you please try replacing bootloader.bin file in your "arduino-esp32/tools/sdk/bin/" directory with the one attach...

Re: Question to esp32-cam-demo

Yes, I think I was initially writing this code when only 80MHz clock frequency was available, so I had to skip every other scan line to keep up with frame rate. Regarding I2S interrupt, it gets triggered when given number of samples have been received. The number of samples is written into I2S_RXEOF...

Re: How to flash the ESP32 ?

I mean that you need to make sure that TXD of CP2102 on the DevKitC board goes to RXD of the ESP32 and vice versa. Or just connect them and then try swapping connection if it doesn't work.

Re: RTCWDT_RTC_RESET symptom of what kind of error?

Yes, please upload the bootloader.bin file which you are flashing using Arduino IDE.

Re: How to flash the ESP32 ?

Yes, that would work. Make sure you connect TX and RX the right way, and then ground GPIO0 and toggle EN before uploading. Make sure you connect EN pin of the DevKitC to ground, to keep it in reset.

Re: RTCWDT_RTC_RESET symptom of what kind of error?

I went through the schematic and didn't find anything that looked odd. Could you please upload the binary file(s) you are flashing to your board somewhere? At least the first one, bootloader.bin. According to the log (mode:DIO, clock div:1) the flash is clocked at 80 MHz. Maybe trying a lower freque...

Re: Provide sample to update firmware into ESP32

@kolban: indeed, this is how these functions are supposed to work.
