Re: Where are ESP engineer?.............................?.........................?

In Poland, students are eager to use ESP, but it's support and example projects on GitHub in English language are still not good compared with STM32. Hi pogmem, What do you think are the key items to improve support and example projects on GitHub? No doubt Espressif is anxious to hear the feedback ...

Re: path to component includes

How to make the components header files visible to my application code? Hi StefanHri, All esp-idf components should be already visible, given you have successfully completed Get Started instructions to compile "hello_world" example (I would use it to test if your include works). Do you see "cbor" c...

Re: Pulse counting and Deep Sleep

So far all works well with temperature, humidity, pressure, but there is a problem when it comes to counting impulses for example from a anemometer or a Geiger counter. when I had the whole code separated in void setup and void loop all was working, but as I understand I can not use a loop together...

Re: ESP32 PICO D4 Power supply

Hi ravi_butani, 1. Can I use 2.8V Supply voltage for all VDD pins without any problem ? (Datasheet suggest 2.3 to 3.6V range except VDD3P3_RTC and I am not using RTC)? No. VDD3P3_RTC should be 3.0 V ~ 3.6 V , see ESP32-PICO-D4 Datasheet V1.7 - "Note that the embedded flash is connected to VDD_SDIO w...

Re: Getting started with ESP32-S

Hello KMM, Can you please help me to get started with? I have installed Ardunio IDE. I am exploring which ESP32-S module to be used. Your suggestion on selecting ESP32-S module is welcome. I am not sure if there are more ESP32-S modules besides that I found in internet and linked in my previous post...

Re: Cant wake up from UART_NUM_1

Hi JosuGZ,

There are limitations to pin selection for wakeup signal, please see the note to function uart_set_wakeup_threshold().
This information is indeed missing in documentation of v3.2.2 you are using, but I see it provided for the latest stable release V3.3.1.

Re: Getting started with ESP32-S

Hi KMM, - Do I have to program my own WiFi stack or BLE stack? No. - Does ESP32-S come preprogrammed with WiFi stack/BLE stack? Some modules, including ESP32-S , come preprogrammed with AT firmware . - How to program/debug the user defined code? See https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp-idf/en/lat...

Re: ESP32 Unresolved Inclusion on Hello World

Thanks. While I was working on a separate problem, I modified the file CMakeList (to add versioning) and when I rebuilt the project (which forced cmake to recreate the makefile), the #include statements resolved. The problem has not recurred, in this or other projects. Not sure if it's related or n...
