Re: JTAG with Wrover

For JTAG debugging my ESP32's I bought a 'ft232h mini module' from digikey but mouser sells them too. (https://ca.mouser.com/ProductDetail/?qs=pB3G9VbQXIf%252bpWyngo5ZjA%3D%3D) Gives you the same high speed ftdi chip that is on the WROVER-KIT (I didn't have one of those). I had a J-Link as well but ...

Re: libconsole.a not being included in my app - LD 'undefined reference' issues

Hello,

Thanks Angus, that resolved it. I started to dig deeper into other things and then gave up on the console as really it's just a nice to have right now. Since everything else I have used in IDF already had the extern I never thought about that

Thanks, Jeff

Re: libconsole.a not being included in my app - LD 'undefined reference' issues

Hello,

I am using the latest IDF as of last night.
I have done make clean about 3 times

But I think I figured it out. I am using IDF + Arduino in the same project. I bet Arduino has a libconsole as well. Looking into it now...

libconsole.a not being included in my app - LD 'undefined reference' issues

Hello, I am running out of ideas other than digging deeper into the IDF make system. The examples/system/console example compiles just fine and works. I want to add a command system to a project I am building to allow for turning on/off modules at runtime. I have followed pattern of the example but ...

Re: IDF i2c issues, unable to find device on bus

Hello, Re-read that thread in the arduino-esp32 as I found it before but didn't really read it since it was arduino based. So I updated my Arduino dev environment with the ESP32 stuff. So I have confirmed that the changes they made in arduino allow my arduino i2c scanner logic to find all the device...

IDF i2c issues, unable to find device on bus

Hello, I know there are several I2C threads here, I am looking for suggestions for my issue. Unfortunately I don't have a logic analyzer at the moment to see what the signals look like between the working and the not working. Background, I was using a Teensy 3.6 with external Wifi and BT for a proje...
