Re: How to introduce sequential tasks using xEventgroupSync()

Since event groups unlock all tasks waiting for it, priority will select witch will run first. Why dont use this? Just put higger prio in tcp_send() and lower in tcp_read(), both on same core.

You tested this? Should work, I think

Re: Coredump

Tried with esp_partition() functions and getting some issues.... See printf() output: When I print(%s), notting usefull appears, but print(%c) or %x works and show some infos, I only can see task names between all >=127d chars. https://i.imgur.com/lnzNdj3.png 1. The coredump is written to a partition; you could read out that partition on the ESP32 and e.g. send its contents off to a server.
Which functions do I use for this? I read what range of partition address?

ESP ADC CAL

Hi guys, I would like to understand more deeper about esp_adc_cal() library. I've always read in places that use the Vref or TP values recorded in eFuse, but I tested it on a board without both, which makes the library use the standard Vref, but it still worked so well that made me wonder how it wor...

Re: Newbie UART write

Force-casting them to a char* should work. No specific need to add the const here, the const in this case is a promise from the function that it won't change the data a caller passes onto it. Well, no logic, but worked :lol: for (int16_t i = 0; i < 44; i++) { const char x = (int8_t)SS[i]; uart_writ...

How did you init uart with:

Code: Select all

    uart_driver_install(UART, RX_BUF_SIZE, TX_BUF_SIZE, QUEUE_SIZE, &uart_queue, FLAGS);
I not understanding, This not use any parameter with const char...? :(

Code: Select all

uart_driver_install(UART_NUM_0, 1024, 0, 0, NULL, 0);
