Re: Need information like when ESP32 BT Stack will be certified

Hello Ritesh, if you look here https://www.espressif.com/en/certificates you will see the ESP32 and most ESP32 modules have been Bluetooth certified. You can also search for "Espressif" on the Bluetooth SIG website https://launchstudio.bluetooth.com/Listings/Search?_ga=2.244428421.1627723419.1534001...

Re: WIFI Direct support for ESP32 in esp-idf

Wi-Fi direct is Station + SoftAP together. Refer to the IDF documentation: In Wi-Fi driver API, ESP32 Wi-Fi Configuration, Wi-Fi Mode: Call esp_wifi_set_mode() to set the Wi-Fi mode: WIFI_MODE_APSTA

Re: measure 9v to 18v

Hi Mitch, my friends from HW will comment about the clamping diodes, I think you can rely on the ones on the ESP32 IO but better double check. As far as averaging, you can try with 20 samples and optimize accordingly. Have fun.

Re: ROM, RAM and flash difference and usage

A module would be a safer approach, if you use an ESP32 chip you will have to design the RF section which is not such an easy job. As far as your specific question, as answered previously, your code will be stored in the SPI flash which is: inside the ESP32-WROOM-32 module, outside if you use an ESP...

Re: measure 9v to 18v

To complement the answers above, you may want to add a 100n cap between input and gnd to filter the ignition spikes and other noise, and do your ADC measurements as running average.

Re: ESP32-Wrover and ESP32-Wrover 1

Hello, ESP32-WROVER has an embedded PCB antenna, so it does not require external antenna. The ESP32-WROVER-I (it's an I like in IPEX), mounts an IPEX connector for external antenna. So in other words, if you need to attach an external antenna, you have to go for the -I version, if your application c...
