Re: What matching components should be used for the 5x5 QFN package?

I checked the ESP-WROOM-32 (with PCB antenna) and the schematics on page 17 shows a similar Pi matching circuit.

Re: What matching components should be used for the 5x5 QFN package?

Hi Reza, the schematic I had posted before was from an early version of ESP-WROOM-32U. The datasheet http://espressif.com/sites/default/files/documentation/esp-wroom-32d_esp32-wroom-32u_datasheet_en.pdf has just been published and you can check the final schematic on page 15 [img] ESP-WROOM-32U%20Pi...

Re: Extending range of PCB antenna

Hi Albert, the maximum power you can radiate from your antenna is 20dBm, this is limited by law. If you use an antenna with higher gain, you must decrease the output power to stay within the 20dBm limit. On the other hand you are free to use antennas with higher sensitivity. There's a brand new vers...

Re: Entering SSID and Password in ESP32

You can configure the module as Station and send SSID and pwd via a terminal with the AT commands:
AT+CWMODE=1 and
AT+CWJAP="SSID","pwd"
The AT commands manual is here http://espressif.com/sites/default/file ... les_en.pdf

Re: What matching components should be used for the 5x5 QFN package?

Hi Reza, in the Sparkfun esp-32-thing schematic, I can see the matching circuit. https://cdn.sparkfun.com/assets/learn_t ... ematic.pdf
As far as the ESP32-D0WD you can use this circuit.

Re: BLE and Wifi dont work properly toghether

Actually, I'm thinking this too. However, I don't get the ESP32 purpose. If it cannot have both BLE and Wifi simultaneously, why did they build it?I mean, separate ICs for each one will be better than having an IC that can implement one of BLE and Wifi completely. I believe that if the IC cannot ru...

Re: There is no ESP32-PICO-D4 board in the arduino framework

Hi Taiana, ESP-Pico-D4 should behave like an ESP-Wroom-32, the only difference is the form factor thanks to the integration as a System In Package.

Re: ESP32 Touch

The touch sensors must be covered by an insulator (forming the capacitor dielectric). In general this is the plastic cover of the front panel, with the PCB and the electrodes right behind. If you cannot stick the PCB behind the panel, you can use springs. I think I have a nice document about capacit...
