The touch sensors must be covered by an insulator (forming the capacitor dielectric). In general this is the plastic cover of the front panel, with the PCB and the electrodes right behind. Hi Roobituk, this looks interesting and the hardware design is very clean. Congrats.
Adding GPRS could be a nice feature, there are GNSS/GPRS modules like the G60.
Any plans for a Kickstarter fund raising campaign?
