Re: Is uart_write_bytes and read thread safe?

I too am monitoring 2 UARTS. Both of which are on the same core and I have not had that issue. Maybe it's the way your implementing you code that is causing the problem.

Re: How to profile ESP32 application performance?

There's a configuration option, CONFIG_FREERTOS_GENERATE_RUN_TIME_STATS, that can print some performance information, but it only goes to big tasks, like main and idle. Not true, it goes for all tasks. I have been working on a "Htop" clone like thing.. Hope to post it soon. Its based on the example...

You can flash it with this.
https://www.gridconnect.com/products/es ... gging-tool

You just need 4 pins. +3.3v, GND, EN & GPIO0.
And TX0, RX0

And make sure gpio2 is not pulled up
Holy cow! how could I have forgotten them. Thanks WiFive for pointing that out.

Re: ESP32 WROOM 32 won't enter serial bootloader mode

Great image for the sequencing of EN and GPIO-0. When does the uploading occur and when do I release EN? The uploading starts via serial data. EN is just really the reset pin. So you can just press it and release it quickly. The important thing here is that IO-0 is held low just a bit longer after ...
