Re: What would you like to see in The Next Chip?

I get a random amount of 203 errors while trying to connect to WPA2
I have always used WPA2, are you talking about WPA2 Enterprise ?
I have not tried Enterprise. But with WPA2 I have never seen anything like that.

Re: What would you like to see in The Next Chip?

I'd like for the next chip to not have unknown failures connecting to wifi.
Really? I have not had one issue with the Wi-Fi. It's been a rock for me.

Re: What would you like to see in The Next Chip?

I have to absolutely agree. For me it would be enough to fix all or nearly all hardware bugs (peripherals + ECO, 3.9 and 3.10 especially) and incomplete features. The only thing that is really needed is more pins IMHO. Yes! If i had to choose between more ram or fixing the issues i would choose the...

Re: What would you like to see in The Next Chip?

What would you like to see in The Next Chip? I now understand why manuf. don't ask this question. I have been following this post since its creation. Very, very few good ideas, but the majority of them are people wanting to make this chip suit their own goals. Not to mention trying to throw everyth...

Re: Quadcopter PCB design tips

I am only using 2 layers and placed a PHY IC under it, with quite a few other parts. Works no problem. If your using 4 layers there should be no issue at all.

Re: What would you like to see in The Next Chip?

- separate BT and WiFi - USB 2.0+ - more cores - 8 would be excellent - more SPIs and higher SPI clock - executable external memory - more ram and psram - better timer - configurable clock speed per core? - improved sleep modes - hardware button debouncing Now your just getting into a whole other b...

It's not much, but something. /* LEDC_HPOINT_HSCH1 : R/W ;bitpos:[19:0] ;default: 20'h0 ; */ /*description: The output value changes to high when htimerx(x=[0 3]) selected by high speed channel1 has reached reg_hpoint_hsch1[19:0]*/ #define LEDC_HPOINT_HSCH1 0x000FFFFF #define LEDC_HPOINT_HSCH1_M ((L...

Re: IR Transmitter

I assumed the middle pin is for the 5v as this was the case with the receiver. I does not show on the pinout but adding this to check I have not blown the transmitter. They are using that board as dual purpose, that's why there are other placed for parts that are no on it. You need to be using the ...

Re: Anyone considering VoIP using the ESP32-LyraT

I'm also interested, for now the the closest I found was https://github.com/chrta/sip_call but it would be interesting if it could be used with ESP32 ADF
Yes, I found that too and tried it but could not get it to do anything toggling GPIO0.
