Re: Which ESP32 module should I get?
It should also be noted that ALL of them are battery power-able. It's having charging circuits for Li-Ion/Li-Poly/Li-FEPo batteries that changes the story there. Integral circuits sometimes makes things easier...sometimes not. Sometimes you want do do something else or you need NiMH, etc. and have t...

Re: Which ESP32 module should I get?
As an aside, you can get more than the one you pictured on eBay. http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/88cAAOSwj25Y8Xkv/s-l500.jpg The Ebox & Widora module has something unique. U.FL connector support. Only one there is. As a proviso, it's clearly marked in a manner similar to the DevBoard-C models out ther...

Re: Which ESP32 module should I get?
Unless you've got the corresponding mappings to those header pins on that board, you may have issues. To be usable other than through the serial and the wireless portions of the device, you're going to need the pin map there. Units like the one on the bottom or ones modeled precisely after that have...

Re: Is Gravitech still in business providing NANO32?
Well, well, well - last thing I expected: my order of 4 NANO32s was finally fulfilled, and they arrived Monday - only 2 months and 11 days after the order was placed. Over that 2 months of wait, I never got a single response from Gravitech to the multiple emails I sent them. I think the customer se...

Re: Including C++ code into C project
Hi, My goal is to make a component that read from some sensors. Due to the requirements of the project, the code must be in C++ cause I need to use some pattern design, but the project(Main and other components, should be write with C). file1.c-----Calls static function---->file2..cpp-----Create an...

Re: [Video] ESP32 - The ESP32 IRC channel
Gitter looks good. And...heh...at least for now, we're using them for a lot of things. I know I am using a lot of GitHub's toys of late that're fully FOSSed or utterly free for FOSS projects. So...not so bad.

Re: [Video] ESP32 - The ESP32 IRC channel
A good chap pinged me this https://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/team_chat.png I've been polling new users on the IRC channel ... and a lot of them are confused by the interface, tooling etc. They are also missing the inability to see history or paste in images directly. Apparently these things are taken as...

Re: Will ESP32 eventually support BLE 5?
What features of BLE 5 do you see your project needing to use? Anyone using 5 is looking for the higher speeds or the long-range support. Neither of which are going to grace this device unless they've licensed the BT 5 Modem and Controller either from their supplier or someone else and planning on ...

Re: [Video] ESP32 - The ESP32 IRC channel
If Espressif wants to foot the bill on the server(s) for it, you can have Slack without the "price"- because with the right resources, it'd be cheaper to run your own server and run Mattermost... https://www.mattermost.com// They look like they're faintly cheaper for them hosting it than Slack- and ...
