Hi,

I'm getting a lot more into PCB design, but my work rate is very slow if I do everything by hand. I designed some custom PCB to fit an ESP32 WROVER-E on it.

In the manual , it says the absolute maximum rating is 150°C (storage temp).
If I put a PCB with a WROVER on it and I reflow the board at 165° top (low temperature solder paste), will it damage the board?

If yes, how do manufacturer make boards like HUZZAH or other dev boards?

If it work, how high I can set the temperature ? (Higher temp will allow for better solder paste)

Yes, during reflowing the Wrover can temporarily handle a higher temperature; the 'storage temperature' is more of a long-term thing. For details, refer to the 'reflow profile' in the datasheet.

So, to reflow the PCB, do you recommend using paste that reflows at a lower temperature than the listed 235 ~ 250℃, or is a paste that reflows at the same temperature is fine?

Sorry, no clue, I'm not that familiar with soldering processes.
