ESP32 with USB-C connector

Postby Janosik » Thu Dec 08, 2022 9:02 am

Hello,

I bought a ESP32 with USB-C connector. >>>this one<<<
(I only have the ESP32, not the expansion board)
The description says it has CH340C onboard, and that it supports Arduino IDE.
But...
When connecting it to my PC, the power-LED lights up, and I hear the sound for "new device connected".
But it doesn't connect to a COM-port. The Arduino IDE doesn' show any available COM-ports.
The Windows Device Manager does show a "other devices > USB serial", but no COM-port.
How can I upload programs to this ESP32, preferably using the Arduino IDE?

Thank you, and best regards,
Jan Hendrickx.

PS: I have used a lot of other ESP and Arduino boards before without any problems...
