ESP32 kills Asus Blue Cave Router

Postby samsonch » Tue May 14, 2019 8:13 am

When we connected ESP32 with an Asus Blue Cave router, it (this ESP32 connection) simply killed the entire router. Any connection sessions of the other devices with this Blue Cave died. We tried the standard example code came with the SDK, same result. Even the Blue Cave was set to AP mode, same problem. I called Asus Customer Care, they could not help at all. After the router was killed, the log showed:

May 13 21:49:06 kernel: [ 332.230000] [cbm] { cbm_queue_flush : 3647 }out QOCC 0
May 13 21:49:06 kernel: [ 332.290000]
May 13 21:49:30 logserver[1327]: [0797264867] [_parse_log:1180]: wlan0: Fatal Error in file: “TsManagerRecipient.c”; Fatal Print: TS Manager Recipient Fatal
May 13 21:49:36 kernel: [ 362.230000] [cbm] { cbm_queue_flush : 3647 }out QOCC 0
May 13 21:49:36 kernel: [ 362.290000]
May 13 21:49:51 logserver[1327]: [0818252808] [_parse_log:1180]: wlan0: Fatal Error in file: “TsManagerRecipient.c”; Fatal Print: TS Manager Recipient Fatal
May 13 21:49:56 kernel: [ 382.250000] [cbm] { cbm_queue_flush : 3647 }out QOCC 0

Any idea?

I have exactly the same issue. I have tried with esp32 from another brands but same result so yes, it's a router problem. Do you have stock firmware?
