Requires necessary?

I have some question about CMake...
What is the REQUIRES at idf_component_register and when do I use it?

At example examples/system/console, there are components cmd_nvs & cmd_system:

Why is at cmd_nvs the REQUIRES console nvs_flash??

Hi Alex,

There are a description and an example in the build system docs for master branch:

(This applies to v4.1, v4.2 but basically the same thing applies to v4.0 just some of the syntax is different.)
