Make issue

Postby Lamonde » Thu Oct 25, 2018 12:30 pm

Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS
Release: 18.04
Codename: bionic

I've got a makefile issue, I am not able to solve it by myself.
I googled a lot but did not find the answer.
Could someone please help me?

I followed the ... et-esp-idf

and ended up here:

Code: Select all

Toolchain path: /home/tobi/esp/xtensa-esp32-elf/bin/xtensa-esp32-elf-gcc
Toolchain version: crosstool-ng-1.22.0-80-g6c4433a
Compiler version: 5.2.0
make[1]: *** No rule to make target '/home/tobi/esp/esp-idf/components/esptool_py/esptool/', needed by '/home/tobi/esp/hello_world/build/bootloader/bootloader.bin'. Stop.

I recall hitting something like this before, try running git submodule update from the esp-idf directory.
