In AP mode, how to know the client's Wi-Fi power or quality?

Hello, does anyone know when ESP is in AP mode and a client connects the reception power or the quality of the connection with the client that has been connected?

Basically what I want is that the AP connection with the client, only be done if the client is very close to the ESP module, for example one meter and if it is far not to deny the connection or disconnect.

All the best

As it is the client to decide on making a connection, I wonder if this even is a meaningful question? The AP will never see the client until the client has decided to connect, probably based on the rssi of the AP.

Ok, but a client who sees the network but is far away and wants to connect, if I have the data of its power or quality I will reject it.
