It will, but that's not the best choice. An FT2232H based JTAG adapter will work much faster.

OK... But which Interface file in openocd\scripts\interface\ftdi
should I use ?

For the one you have linked, that would be jlink.cfg (not in ftdi directory).

It depends on your adapter; there are multiple adapters based around this IC.
