How to setup software breakpoints OpenOCD, ESP-IDF, VS Code?

Hi,

I was wondering how you set software breakpoints in VS code with OpenOCD since the hardware limit is 2 and according to the
ESpressif documentation they say there are 32 IRAM and 32 Flash software breakpoints https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp ... uirks.html
but they also mentioned it was not supported during the time of writing the page so I was wondering if that is finally supported after all those years and what is the actual difference between all of those BR types?
