Compile environment error

used: ubuntu 16.04 server xtensa-esp32-elf esp-idf all ok.
PATH IDF_PATH ok.
make hello_world project To qualify the warnings.

First of all: please don't run user-stuff like esp-idf as root; it's bad Unix practice.

Secondly: there seems to be something wrong with the 'as' binary in your xtensa toolchain. Maybe it got corrupted somehow? Can you try re-downloading and re-installing your toolchain?
