Unmounting FAT file system?

Hi,

The example for wear levelling unmounts the file system after use. This got me thinking and I have this question I can't find an answer for:

Is it a good practice to mount/unmount the file system as needed compared to just mount once and possibly never unmount it?

It seems that calling esp_vfs_fat_spiflash_mount outside of app_main causes a deadlock of some sort so based on that, I can only conclude that the answer to my question is "no".
