An Arduino Uno switches an LED on/off based on the AWS device shadow.
This setup could be replicated with practically any host microcontroller.
A CCM module (which is an ESP-WROOM-32 hardware module) could provides device shadow connectivity, MQTT interface, and OTA for the host micro.
