ESP32-LyraTD-MSC CP210x USB to UART This device cannot start(Code 10)

I can not get the ESP32-LyraTD-MSC to communicate to my Windows 7, 64-bit PC. By default, my Windows 7 assumes the CP2102N is a USB Input Device instead of a COM port. I installed the SiLabs drivers but discovered they don't cover the ESP32-LyraTD-MSC CP2102N VID/PID combination (VID=10C4,PIC=EA62). I used SiLabs AN220 to create a new driver with the correct VID/PID (10C4/EA62). When I force Windows to use this driver, the Driver reports "This device cannot start. (Code 10)". I tried the SiLabs Driver Customer Wizard (AN220SW) Virtual COM port Driver Installation option(Ver 6.7 since it is a Windows 7) and the Direct Access WinUSB Driver Installation with same result. Any ideas?

Any follow-up on this issue? I have exactly the same phenomenon with a ESP32-LyraT just bought from mouser. CP2102N shows up as VID=10C4,PIC=EA62 that is not included in the factory inf that is available from silabs. If I add the PID to the inf, I get "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".

Sorry, no followup on the issue. No one jumped in with insights on what was going on and eventually the project got cancelled. If you find a solution, I would be interested in case the project comes back to life.
