esp-idf Version: 2.9.1, configuration issues when a project is created it

Hi Espressif team.
my name is Alfredo, I am just trying to start to work with ESP32 board.

I have donwloaded the esp-idf-tools-setup-online-2.23.exe from Esspressif site and it was installed.

Everything look fine until when a new project is created (Create a new EspressIf IDF pfroject), IDE reports an issue, Please, see the next picture : Picture Nª2


so, I pressed YES, set manually and the next Popup box is display: Picture Nª3

after setup the first dialoge box, putting Path where EspressIf is installed, the follwing error is repoted: Picture 4 and 5.

Can you help to fix this issue, please, I have tryed using Eclipse and EspressIf Toolchain, when a new project is created, same issue happened.

Hi Alfredo,

Looks like you've selected the wrong esp-idf directly, could you please cross check?

Make sure selected esp-idf directory has tools folder in it.

If you are a windows user I would recommend using espressif-ide installer instead of esp-idf-tools-setup-online.
