ESP32 audio recording

hello guys,
I am new on working with ESP32, I am currently working on recording audio using a microphone (I2S or MAX9814 with analog output) and saving it in a SD card in the form of wav file. I am confused about which microphone to use?
Also, I tried to use MAX9814 but was unable to get the correct output.
please help.
