working on first esp32 project - help with flahing bin

Hi everyone,
Im working on my first esp32 project, it was something that caught my eye on reddit that I wanted to try.
someone created this git library : https://github.com/jb-xyz/openGBW/tree/main
the instructions say flash firmware to esp32 . I tried flashing the opengbw.bin file to 0x0000 (The memory space to upload the bin file isnt mentioned anywhere) and tried to connect the screen and to it, which didnt event light up (no surprise).
I was hoping someone could guide me in the right direction . Thanks !
